Data & privacy

Security software should hold itself to a high standard. This page explains, in plain terms, how your data is handled.

Everything you put into 786 Cyber — people, assets, assessments, policies, evidence — is scoped to your organisation. Other organisations on the platform cannot see your data.

Your core platform data is stored in the UK/EU region used by the platform’s infrastructure. Files such as your logo, generated policy PDFs and uploaded evidence are held in the platform’s secure storage, with access protected behind authenticated requests.

  • Export — you can take your data out; for example, the Asset and people directories support CSV export, and policies export to PDF.
  • Removal — data export and deletion requests are supported.

Self‑service: export‑my‑data and delete‑my‑data are available in Settings → Account → Danger Zone — a full org‑data export (ZIP of your records) and admin‑gated deletion (type‑to‑confirm + re‑auth), our UK GDPR Article 17 surface. For help, contact support@786cyber.net.

The full Privacy Policy and Terms of Service are published on the marketing site at 786cyber.com. Refer to those documents for the authoritative detail on data processing, retention and your rights.

For everyday security: knowing where your data sits and how it’s isolated is part of trusting any tool you put sensitive information into.

For compliance: data isolation, regional storage, and export/deletion support map to data protection and privacy obligations (including UK GDPR), and help you answer supplier‑assurance questionnaires about how a vendor handles your data.
